Kramer Funeral Homes) - Friends and family are remembering the life of a woman who embodied the spirit of giving in the Alexandria community.Wanda Ozier, 65, of Alexandria, died Saturday, April 15. She worked with and helped start several non-profit organizations in the community. She was also known for her grant writing and speaking skills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Wanda Marie Chicola Ozier at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (Pineville), with Rev. Bruce Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning on Wednesday, April 19, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; and will resume on Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, William Byron Ozier; and her parents, Sidney and Christine Lea Chicola.
